El grupo GOLDEN SOUNDS se hizo presente en América latina con un gran éxito en ritmo Bitkusi ,Zangalewa ¨El soldado¨ (aquà solo un fragmento), con esta canción el grupo critica humorÃsticamente la deplorable actitud servil de las Fuerzas Armadas camerunesas ante el poder colonizador extranjero, se aclara que este estribillo fué popularizado por este grupo musical pero no pertenece a ellos, ya que, en sÃ, ha sido un difundido y popular canto entre las tropas y grupos de jovenes marchistas (scouts) de camerún y Ãfrica; fué una de las canciones más populares en la costa norte colombiana ,Canción que alrededor del año 1988 fue éxito total ,numero uno en todas las emisoras y primer lugar en el TOP 10 por muchas semanas, esta canción popularizó aún más la música africana en Barranquilla ,con una interpretación excelente ,hoy por hoy sigue siendo unos de los grandes clásicos de la música africana en Barranquilla y Cartagena en donde seguramente la super estrella planetaria Shakira lo escuchó por primera vez como seguramente también Wilfrido Vargas durante una de sus giras por Colombia y quién sustrajo el coro de la canción para producir un cover a sus Chicas del can, el exito del ritmo contagiante de esta canción, posteriormente, se extendió por gran parte del caribe latinoamericano; recientemente Shakira utilizó este fragmento para componer la esplendida y alegre canción ¨This time for Africa¨ elegida por la FIFA como tema oficial del campeonato mundial de futbol Sudáfrica 2010.
