Las Ketchup es un grupo musical que a mediados de 2002 vendió 12 millones de copias por todo el mundo con su canción Aserejé. Está compuesto por tres hermanas de apellido Muñoz: LucÃa, 17 de abril de 1983 (26 años). Lola, 6 de mayo de 1980 (29 años). Pilar, 10 de julio de 1978 (30 años). Alcanzaron el éxito musical en 2002 con Aserejé, un tema que fusiona el flamenco y el europop y que se convirtió en la canción del verano tras alcanzar el número uno en las listas de muchos paÃses, entre los que se incluyen España, Perú, Reino Unido, Italia, Cuba, Francia, Finlandia, Suecia, Noruega, Bélgica, PaÃses Bajos, Suiza, Alemania, Rumania, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, México, Brasil, Chile, Ecuador y Puerto Rico. La canción, que recibió el nombre de "The Ketchup Song" en los paÃses de habla no hispana, estaba acompañada de una coreografÃa caracterÃstica, y la letra recordaba en su estribillo a los primeros versos de la canción Rapper's Delight de Sugarhill Gang, similitud evidente que el compositor de Aserejé, Queco, recreó de forma original realizando una parodia de la anterior. Durante aquella etapa, en el grupo sólo aparecÃan tres de las componentes Lola, Pilar y LucÃa , ya que la cuarta, RocÃo, se encontraba de baja por maternidad. A finales de febrero de 2006, Televisión Española anunció, a través de su espacio España Directo, que Las Ketchup serÃan sus representantes en el 51º Festival de Eurovisión, con el tema Un Bloodymary.1 Finalmente quedarÃan en el puesto 21º, con 18 puntos otorgados por Albania y Andorra, en la gala celebrada en mayo de ese mismo año.
