The Evolution of Final Fantasy [06] Chocobos
Part 6 in a series that takes a look at the history of one of the greatest gaming franchises of all time, chronicling the many recurring themes, characters and monsters that have appeared over the years. This entry focuses on the big chicken with the catchy tune- the chocobo. Enjoy! Notes regarding this video (please read before commenting!): - For the entire series, I have simply gathered video footage from various sources on YouTube and compiled them together. I've done this only to entertain the many fans of Final Fantasy here on YouTube, so with that said, many thanks to all the folks who took the time to record the game footage. - Again, for the whole series, I've focused solely on the main games. Remakes and updates of those games are featured, but I've opted to skip games like Tactics, FFX-2 and such. I had to draw the line somewhere to keep a reasonable length. - As usual, DS video is kind of tricky to capture, so the footage for FFIII isn't direct-feed quality. I used the best I could find. - I included the black chocobo and other variations for some games, but not all of them. I just wanted to give a good mix of most of the breeds/colors/types we've seen over the years. - The FFVIII summon is cut a little on the short side. Sorry, it was a late addition and I had reached the 10 minute mark. - For a topic like this, it's certainly debatable if I left out anything of real importance, but hopefully the video offers a decent general history of that big speedy chicken.
