I'm Dana Ward in Beverly Hills and we've got some fabulous GG news. It seems that Miss Hilary Duff will join the ranks on the oh-so-popular, Gossip Girl. According to reports, the singer-slash-actress will take-on a multi-episode arc as the character of Olivia Burke. This newbie can definitely rival the richie-rich lifestyle rocked by the solid cast, as Olivia is a movie star who's attending NYU as a freshman to experience a quote-unquote 'normal college life'. Duff's character will apparently be roomies with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and might even have some hot scenes with Dan, played by Penn Badgley, who doesn't even recognize that Oliva is a the celeb. As far as real-life Hilary goes, she's a self-described fan of the show, naming Chuck as her all-time favorite character. This 3rd season of Gossip Girl premieres September 14th... And sorry guys, but you'll just have to WAIT to get a glance at Duff in her new role, as she doesn't enter the scene until Episode 4. Here's the Q: Do you like Hilary as a Gossip Girl addition or is she just not in the popular group? What I'm wondering about - and kinda expecting a little bit - is a little singing duel between Hilary and newer-to-the-music-world Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen. What do you think? Before we wrap it up, we gotta add that Joanna Garcia - you know her from Reba as well as from Privileged - is also signed on for 4 episodes of GG. She'll be playing Bree Buckley, a southern belle with a bit of conservative, beauty queen ways that wind up charming Chace Crawford aka Nate. Cruel Intentions (Gossip Girl Movie Trailer)
ok so here's a new vid i finished yesterday evening. as the title says it's a gossip girl trailer. but not with the audio of "cruel intentions"(the movie) trailer, it's all gossip girl ! i was inspired after watching the 7th episode of season 2 and i thought that this was soooo "cruel intentions" like that i had to make a trailer ! so this is centered around episode 7 but there are clips from others as well. also, the story in it differs a bit from the movie. so here's a summary of the plot : Chuck Bass is a man who gets every girl he wants. But the one he wants most, Blair Waldorf, doesn't want him. One day, a girl named Vanessa Abrams, threatens Blair with a picture she has and Blair wants revenge. Knowing that Chuck is into her and is a seductor, she proposes some sort of challenge : he has to seduce Vanessa and then to humiliate her. The price : the thrill of the impossible. But Chuck thinks it's not enough and raises the stakes. The new price is spending a night with Blair. He accepts the mission but as he gets closer to Vanessa, a real friendship grows between the two.
