Originally influenced by the hip-hop DJs he heard on France's Radio 7 station, he began DJing at Broad, a gay club in Paris. From 1988 to 1990, Guetta was a DJ playing house music on Paris's Radio Nova.In 1990, he released "Nation Rap", a hip-hop collaboration with French rapper Sidney Duteil.In the early 1990s, he was influential in the rise of house music and acid house in Paris, playing in clubs such as Le Central in Champs Elysées and the Rex Club. It was during this time that Guetta met American singer Robert Owens, who was touring in Europe, and played him one of his own demos. The singer liked one so much that he decided to sing the vocals for it.Released in 1994Guetta's first single, "Up & Away", was a minor club hit and is considered as one of the pioneering records of the French house genre. Also that year, David met his wife Cathy Guetta DJing at Les Bains Douches and together they organised parties at the Bataclan theatre in Paris. In 1995, David Guetta became the artistic manager at Le Palace nightclub and he continued to organise successful parties there and in other clubs, such as the "Scream" parties in Les Bains DouchesSince 1996, David Guetta has also held events in Ibiza. "We were the first French to organise in Ibiza" he remembers, "It was different back then. The English DJs were laughing at us, but I was friends with Daft Punk and Cassius and one day they became famous" In 2001, David Guetta and Joachim Garraud founded Gum Productions and in the same year Guetta's first hit single, "Just a Little More Love", featuring American singer Chris Willis and produced by Garraud, was released. Guetta's debut album Just a Little More Love was released in 2002 on Virgin Records and sold over 250,000 copies. The follow-up single, "Love Don't Let Me Go", was released in 2002. Other singles from the album include "People Come, People Go" featuring Chris Willis and "Give Me Something" featuring Barbara Tucker. Guetta's second album, Guetta Blaster, was released in 2004 and contained the US Dance number 1 "The World is Mine" featuring JD Davis. In 2006 "Love Don't Let Me Go" was released as a mash-up with the Tocadisco remix of "Walking Away" by The Egg. The single, "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)" charted higher than the original release of the song. In 2007, Guetta's third album Pop Life was released. The album was successful in the UK and Ireland as well as in mainland Europe. The lead single "Love Is Gone" reached Number 1 on the American Dance Chart and charted on the Billboard Hot 100. He played in many countries around the world to promote the album. He played in Mauritius in January 2008, accompanied by French rapper JoeyStarr of the French rap group NTM. In the same year, he and his wife Cathy also planned a new event which took place in the Stade de France on 5 July 2008. About Cat Clips This episode is part of the humorous "Cat Clips" series, which features the ongoing adventures of a group of cats in the New Jersey suburbs. The cats are avid fans of pop culture and fill their days discussing the latest celebrity gossip, political mishaps and topical entertainment related subject matter. They also engage in plenty of mystery and intrigue, as they continually try to scheme and outmaneuver each other, most often with comical results. Meet the Cats: Honey (aka Chase), an orange and white long-haired domestic, is the oldest female of the group, and loves to eat chocolate and other sweet treats. Often referred to as "Big Mama," the Mother of the clan is not afraid to give her opinion on almost anything—whether you ask for it or not. (Later in the series, it's discovered that Honey is actually a diabetic and so she must reluctantly give up her pension for popsicles and pastries in favor of daily insulin shots.) Trey is an all-black short-haired domestic cat who often looks at life through a cynical pair of eyes. Though he teases Honey relentlessly, he also feels a deep affection for her, and it soon becomes apparent that his tough exterior is mostly for show. Tipi arrives in Episode #36 to become the youngest female feline of the group. She is an extremely ambitious cat with only one thing on her mind—to become a huge mega-star. She loves to sing, dance and act, and uses every opportunity to promote herself and her desire to become a leading actress. A spin-off series called "Dear Tipi" was developed to help facilitate her desire for global recognition. Tuck is a Bengal cat and the offspring of one of Honey's British relatives. He arrives in Episode #44 just in time for Valentine's Day. Though Tuck instantly bonds with Honey and Tipi, Trey doesn't trust him and is quite reluctant to allow the foreigner into the fold. But eventually, Tuck wins over the older male cat with his positive energy and upbeat personality. Soon after, Tuck falls madly in love with Tipi, who rejects his advances in favor of her career ambitions. Boots is the newest member of the cast, arriving in Episode #105, and actually appears as a ghost in the series. Although his back story is still somewhat vague, we do know that when he was living, he was owned by the great and powerful Wizard of Wit.
