Lady Gaga ** Update On REAL "Alejandro" Music Video: ** The music video for Alejandro was shot on 30 April 2010. On Friday the 28th of May, it was revealed the video is set to be released Monday, 31st of May, as Gaga stated on the Monster Ball Tour. During a recent night out with TimeOnline.co.uk's journalist Caitlin Moran Gaga revealed that the video is about the "purity of my friendships with my gay friends", Gaga had explained, earlier. "And how I've been unable to find that with a straight man in my life. It's a celebration and an admiration of gay love -- it confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together. In the video I'm pining for the love of my gay friends -- but they just don't want me." She's dressed as Joan of Arc, with a ferocious Purdey haircut. To be honest, I can't see much more than that, because she's a bit pissed and her thumbs keep getting in the way" according to Caitlin Moran after a recent night out with Gaga where she scrolled through several images on her Blackberry from the Alejandro video clip. Lady Gaga made an appearance on The Hamish & Andy Show, hosted by Hamish Blake and Andy Lee. It airs on radios in Australia on 2Day FM. While on the talk show, Gaga confirmed that she is planning a music video for the single. On March 23, 2010, Women's Wear Daily mentioned that the director is fashion-photographer, Steven Klein, and also, Gaga confirmed this in a tweet. She also said that there were not going to be celebrities in her next video. While on Nova 96.9, she gave a little bit more information about the video. " Im so excited about the Alejandro video, [...] Actually, were shooting it very soon and I dont want to say who the director is yet because its going to give a lot away. [...] Are you absolutely mad? I would never, ever tell you! [about the concept of the video] I would be more likely to lie through my teeth to you [regarding] what the videos about so that you could all be surprised. But I will tell you its not the sequel to the Telephone video. " —Lady Gaga After the video shoot, rumors surfaced. There is said to be a connection to Lorenzo Maitani's "Expulsion of Paradise". Much like the music video for Telephone, a couple product placements have been mentioned, including, Chanel, and Haus of GaGa. Lady Gaga portrays three different characters throughout the music video, one of them, wearing a set of golden vampire grillz. Three actors were casted to play "Alejandro", "Fernando", and "Roberto", during separate scenes. The man portraying "Alejandro" is said to be a German actor named, Jordan Brower. A selected few scenes were described as "crazier than 'Telephone'", and there is even a burial scene. A little has been revealed, Lady Gaga is set to die in the video, but a "surprise twist" will occur during the funeral. A rumor surfaced, about Gaga playing 3 different characters, and that one of them has Vampire fangs. While there is no confirmation as to when the video is set for release, the director said the video would be finished very soon. Currently, Lady Gaga's official website shows a message '"ALEJANDRO" MUSIC VIDEO COMING SOON' beneath an embedded video of her American Idol performance.[1]Gaga wants it to coincide with the end of Europe Monster Ball. A rumor started around mid-May that Paris Hilton is set to make a cameo. On May 18, a photo was released of Gaga surrounded by men with bowl cuts.
